Un·Fortunate

After his bicycle is stolen, a 10 year old birthday boy is dragged by his father on a journey out of their middle-class neighborhood to search for it. The son witnesses his father’s tendency towards aggression as he confronts the unhoused residents on the edge of their community. They catch up to the bike, only to find their own compassion tested as they are forced to consider their own blessings. UN·FORTUNATE aims to raise questions about a familiar crisis in Los Angeles by having the audience review it from the perspective of a child.
